Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 21, 2026
This page explains what cookies are, which cookies are used on brokerlauncher.com, why, how long they remain, and how you can disable them.
1. General
This policy applies to the brokerlauncher.com website and complements our Privacy Policy. By continuing to browse the site or clicking Accept on the cookie banner, you agree to the usage described on this page.
2. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that websites place in your browser. On later visits the same domain can read it back, which enables features such as remembering your language preference, suppressing repeated notifications, and protecting forms from automated abuse. Cookies do not run software on your device and have no access to your local files.
3. What cookies we use and why
At present we use only first-party functional cookies for essentials — no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking:
- NEXT_LOCALE — stores your chosen language so subsequent visits open in the same locale.
- bl_guide_submitted / bl_guide_seen — controls when the guide popup is shown so it is not repeated after you submit or dismiss it.
- bl_cookie_consent — records that you have acknowledged this banner so it does not appear on later visits.
4. How long do the cookies remain?
Each cookie we set has a defined expiry; you can clear it earlier at any time from your browser settings:
- NEXT_LOCALE: one year.
- bl_guide_submitted: one year (after a successful guide-form submission).
- bl_guide_seen: 30 days (after the popup is dismissed without submission).
- bl_cookie_consent: one year.
5. Third-party cookies
When you submit a form, Cloudflare Turnstile runs to distinguish humans from bots and may place short-lived technical cookies on your device during the verification challenge. Those cookies are managed by Cloudflare and are not stored on our servers. We do not use third-party analytics providers (such as Google Analytics), advertising cookies, or social-media tracking pixels.
6. How do I turn cookies off?
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. The usual path in popular browsers:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
7. Impact of disabling cookies
If you disable our cookies the site still works, but some convenience is lost: your language choice is not remembered, the guide popup may reappear on each visit, and the cookie banner returns on every fresh visit. Cloudflare Turnstile cookies are required for form submission; without them the consultation and guide-download forms will not work.
8. Updates to this policy
We may update this page to reflect changes in the cookies we use, in third-party providers, or in legal requirements. The last-updated date is shown at the top of the page.
